Simple... two words. Unlimited Potential!
First, simply because this game is so customizable. You can rename the teams and the players. You can change the playing style of each team and the ratings of every player.

This is a close call for me.
I don't like that you can't simply rename your team or players in game. I guess it can be done with file editing, etc, but it seems to be more work than I want to do. The same goes for adjusting the stats for players. I

Really bare bones. The UI is bare - even moving players between roster spots could be handled a lot more smoothly. The management is bare, with very simplistic ratings for each player and all rookies are rated the same.
