I think Shadowlings is a good game, but not without problems - I recommend trying the game wholeheartedly, but I would advise against completing it. It's length and lack of variety is a disservice for the great fundaments. I hope the developer will learn

Its not the deepest game but I had a lot of fun. Combat is difficult enough that you constantly get better at it the more you play and there's enough of an RPG element and additional skills to keep things interesting. I did keep getting stuck on treasure
