This game has so many design flaws it's actually infuriating to play.
Biggest one is the bleed mechanic - there are enemies that apply bleed on touch and run faster than you, and the only way to remove bleed is by items you find sparingly

I played for 40 minutes, got to what looked like a save zone or home room, went to look at something and my character freaked out and killed himself. Even Sierra Adventure games would let you save if something stupid was going to kill you.
