The graphics are below average. There no upgrading your sub. Its a fairly simplistic game. Not arcade but not in depth. Is it fun? YES!!! Great way to spend an hour or two. I just wish there were expansions.

It's ok. I was hoping for more tacticle cat and mouse torpedo fights and it just doesn't feel right, like Redstorm Rising for old IBM 386 vintage, The deck gun is cool. Just doesn't scratch the itch for me.

So, before we go to far, realize that I am old. Back in the 80's, there was a game very similar called 'Gato', I believe. It was simple; go out, sink ships. this is the same. It's simple fun without a ton of problems. Perfect for vegging after work.

Dieses Spiel wurde einfach nicht weiterentwickelt. Diverse Bugs nicht behoben. Jetzt haben die Entwickler/Publisher sich anscheinend aus dem Staub gemacht , und Microprose hat übernommen. Hoffentlich wird Silent Depth 2 die bessere Version werden.
