Sure, it's free, but it's also full of microtransactions/ads, and it's just a worse version of the full game. Not worth it.
Plus, now it seems the game doesn't even work, every time I start the game, it just crashes after the Paradox logo.

The game only shows the developer & publisher then crashes. If you do want to play the game i recommend playing the free mobile version (last i checked it still worked) or buy the full steam version.
