You are better off not using steam VR if you have an Openxr VR system. It just adds an un-needed 3rd app killing FPS and over VR smoothness unless you lower settings. Check out Openxr Tool kit if you want to know more about this.

3 years ago this worked perfectly fine, even on my old slow system, but now this just causes everything VR related to crash for no reason.
To use Windows Mixed Reality and not crash as soon as you load anything... You would need some kind of super gaming
