Kinda works but very buggy in private lobby - will sometimes go asynchronous and cause lots of confusion. Also, does not support adding cards <6 for large number of players.
One positive though: it does run under proton too.

Yes, it's good game for teaching and playing with friends.
Pros:
Good design.
Good tutorial, good for beginner.
Optional cheating feature (only online).
Plays well, lightweight.
