By far my favorite MOO 2. It just is a great 4X that is quick and gives you that 4X feeling in under 3 hours. The combat is much more fun then any other modern Space 4X out there. Give it a try and see what a gem this game really is.

I bought this DLC because I liked the base game and wanted to support the developer for doing a good job. Coincidentally, the Tinkers became my favorite race. The DLC isn't required but it certainly enhanced the game a bit. A lot of people will grumble
