Played this for 2 decades. Despite having somewhat basic graphics and odd weapon ranges, the actual play is somehow realistic and challenging, with an AI that plays better than most modern software. I love this game and play it weekly!

Cold War Assault is a 2011 release of Bohemia's first Arma game, Operation Flashpoint, published in 2001. I started the Arma series with Arma 2, so wanted to go back and experience some of the earlier titles in the series, including this one.
