Batmud was my first ever oldschool MUD, it was interesting it definitely felt dated when I played it. it also seems to have a lot of cash shops like many other MMO games these days I think that's to help keep it alive. This game also appearently predates

Seemed like a decent game until it wouldn't let me log in. When I enter my name and password it says "unknown command." I thought maybe my password was wrong but it let's me log in on their site.
Hard to recommend something that won't let you play it.
