I always thought that walking in place could work good but this Demo shows that it might be the future of VR.
It feels sooo cool to explore the world fluently in vr without any interruptions like teleporting.
This is basically the Holodeck that everyone

This Loco-Motion needs to be implemented into every VR game. so many options, so many configurations. I had more fun in this demo type game than i did in RDR2.

I played this way back when it was new and I have to say I still regard it as some of the best locomotion in any vr game I've played. Would love to see more from these concepts.

The whole point of the game (CAOTS Movement system) stopped working for no reason. I changed no settings, and yet my movement system was forced to "Blink Step" even though in the options and in the Calibration. I wouldn't recommend it when the whole point

Freedom Locomotion VR is not a game. It's a demo for a player movement system designed to be used in VR games. Despite being erroneously listed on Steam as a game, there's no gameplay here. It's a common mistake for confused developers to list demos as

Does not work with Windows Mixed Reality controllers (HP Reverb G2). There is no community bindings and there is no guides readily available. I am not in the mood to figure this out on my own.

Ok this is awesome but it would be a game changer if it could sit on the background as a service, like Natural Locomotion (which you can also check in the Steam store but doesn't work nearly as good as this)
this really is, for all intents and purposes,

Played with my Oculus Quest via AirLink and I have to say that it works like charm!
It requires a bit to get used to it but than it's pretty immersive and looks real. Good job!
