I'm not American so I can't say if the route is realistic or not, but it looks fantastic. Riding a long bridge over New York is awesome.
I just don't get the in-game speed limits. Example: 60mph in 2.0 miles all of a sudden changes to 125mph in 1.5mile

Very bore! high speed train. But full of speed limit. speed up very slow and never use high speed because speed limit and red sign. so sad --

I Don't understand the criticism of this DLC. It's super enjoyable to play and the locomotives feel very nice to drive, though they can be a bit slow to speed up. Its not worth it's full price but i picked it up on a heavy discount and i don't regret it.
