18th Century port trading, with threats from pirates. This is a testing micro-management money making strategy game. For those, like me, who need to be able to pause a game ( RL can be a pain ! ) this immersive brain teaser is ideal.

A bit of a sleeper of a game. I'm fairly sure this is a bit of a trade sim built with the same engine as Mount and Blade Warband. The achievements are doable, though you'll notice that the game is so rare, a single person can increase the percent completi
Verdict
At its heart, Winds of Trade is just an abandoned trading sim, but with its, rough edges, and frustrating mechanics, it feels barely worth it's $12 price.
Pros
Trade Automation - You can set up automatic trade routes, whi

A poor man's Port Royale. This game satisfied the craving of me " conquer the world" through economy trading that I had but.. it had several problems but its good enough *barely* to get a positive review. First, the combat is simple but bare bones, if y

It's nothing crazy, but I enjoyed it. I like the trading aspect of the game and while it's not super depthy, it was enough to keep me interested. Combat isn't good. Worth it if you want an inexpensive trading game.

For 4 €, the price I paid, its a good game. Has its limitations and UI problems, but it is by all means a cool trade game. Especially because of the generated worlds. Something that Patrician or Port Royale do not have.

Wirkt leider unvollständig entwickelt. An sich gute Ansätze. Es fehlt leider noch etwas. Es kamen seit 2018 leider keine Updates mehr heraus. Dann lieber das gute alte Patrizier weiterspielen. :)

Good trading sim for the price. I wish the dev continued to develop it but he has moved on. There is not many games like this out there, so I welcome any decent newcomers. I was a fan of Port Royale 3 and this game scratches that itch.
Great Potential but it's abandoned
Honestly, the game had tremendous potential. It is essentially similar to Patrician, Rise of Venice, or Port Royale, but it lacks many of the features and developments that those games have incorporated over t

Trade of Winds seemed promising. It was a global trade simulation for deep strategy and diplomacy. That potential is completely crushed by clunky, frustrating gameplay and horrible design choices. The biggest issue is there is no unified dashboard or s

This game is disappointing. Probably the worst trade game I've played. I've been trying to work out the best way to say why but its tricky. Its poor for a 2017 release, its poor as a trade game, its poor as a sea based game, its poor as a strategy game...
