It has its flaws. The main familiar has an annoying voice. Game-play is simple enough and tutorials are useful. Collecting pets feels fun to me. I have a bias towards final fantasy though.

If you plan on playing this on steam deck make sure you go to the performance options and put it into 30fps(60hz) mode. This completely fixed the weird stutters and hitches the game had for me. The game is great so far en the style is amazing..
