It is what it is - retro remake of classic Space Invaders. More specifically, those versions of space invaders without defensive forts.
Nothing more - and nothing less.
The only minor objection is that Shared/Split Screen PvP is actually not like that.

Super Destronaut is a fun Space Invaders like with neon visuals, good music and fun power ups. What you see is what you get. One more thing that I'd like to mention; if this game is running too fast, try lowering the refresh rate of your display.
