This does some things with the combat that is simply abhorrent.
1. Your placement on the map is locked in, so if your unit dies you can not swap spots or move the body out of the way.

Let me start by saying that while I recommend this game, you have to be invested in Turn Based RPG combat/ dungeon crawling to like this. Civilization, Runescape, Balder's Gate, and everything in the mix.
But if you're even remotely interested, get this.
