Not just one of the definitive Warhammer 40k games, but a classic RTS in its own right. Dark Crusade's conquest mode is superior to Soulstorm's, though it does lack a classic narrative campaign in the way that some players may expect.

This game is a fucking blast. I did enjoy the original game and had less fun with winter assault because I just couldn't get around the squishiness of the chaos troops.
I also felt tired by the linear campaign and chasing arbitrary objectives.
