Strange, somewhat somber and the game goes from light fantasy to straight up weird rather abruptly, but it is fun nonetheless. I wish the main character would resolve more of her underlying issues by game's end, but the game is still fun.

It's an acquired taste. Interesting puzzles, magical atmosphere and many different characters which don't have much to say yet still add to the magical aspect of the game world. Inspiration of Murakami can be felt to some degree I must say.
