Everything in this guide, chapter for chapter, word for word, is also in the Users Guide. But the Users Guid

I am not recommending this, not because it's inherently bad, but because it's included as the first 667 pages of their other ebook, "The Official App Game Kit User Guide", and the last 300 or so pages are where the good stuff is. I recommend buying that
