I've been playing roguelikes for many years, and Starward Rogue is my introduction to the bullet hell genre. It's a fantastic hybrid of both. I'm extremely pleased with it - hard as hell, but with such high replay value I can bear my many losses.

The bullet hell style feels good, more calculated and precise compared to many other bullet hells such as Realm of the Mad God.

The game gets stuck on a load screen loop bug on Linux - Ubuntu Mate 20.04 in my case. Other Linux users have reported same. It's a shame because I've heard great things about this game. The problem may be related to full screen mode but online and forum
