For an older game this is pretty dam good. Tons of ship, weapons, player types, customizations, maps, etc. And decent graphics and bots. Plus, it's cheap, and I like supporting these guys.

It's a really cool game, I'm not sure why it never took off. If I had to guess, I'd say it's the lack of tutorials or clear instruction on how to play.
Neat that it still gets updates, though. The bots are pretty good, so playing solo is still fun.

its a very great game sadly didnt get me yet il prob get it another time. AI are very good in this game, the battles feels quite engaging aswell. its overall a great experience even if it doesnt get me right away. but. maybe you will end up enjoying it!
