Great game, wish there was more! As a completionist the lack of map got annoying because I wasn't sure where I hadn't checked for secrets but it made finding the secrets feel more rewarding which makes the lack of map worth it. The mid game seems too easy

There are certain loading zones that give gray screens when transitioning to a new zone that soft lock the game. All progress is lost since you have to restart the game from your previous save. The game is oldschool fun otherwise.
