One of those games for me where I could never beat it as a kid. Came back to it and had so much fun. Probably one of the most fun combat systems in a JRPG for me. Story was pretty good too. One of my favorite games.

One of the best classic JRPGs, the port is average at best tho. I get more crashes on a high end PC, on a few years old gaming laptop I managed 16h with only 2 minor crashes, so perfectly playable. Best enjoyed on a 1080p screen in default full screen set

Playing this for nostalgia reasons.
Frankly this port is awful. It's unstable and seems to have no improvements over the ps2 version.
The spell animations great as they looked for their time are pixelated and get tedious.

This could be a good game ...
I'm more rating the port here, than the actual game. The game would probably get a positive review.
