Slave Zero is an old, simple but very fun game. Reminds me a lot of the robot sections in Shogo: Mobile Armor Division.
+ Combat is pretty fun.
+ Pretty nice weaponry variety.

Works fine for me, even without the patching.
After the unoffical patch you can enable "true coloring" and Bump mapping" but its makes the game DAMN dark,
even with Gamma 100% you cant the shit,
