I am not far in but I am already in love.
It has the rpg systems and art style of a Fina Fantasy game, the combat on Diablo, with the dungeon delving/puzzling of Zelda.
It might not tie it all together perfectly but what's here is delightful.

This is a product of its time, an oldschool jrpg, not much replay value (which I put a lot of importance on) but it doesn't matter. It's quite a satisfying game.

Well, it's a typical YS-like. You grind then you win. And OF COURSE the last map has to be more convoluted than Homestuck plot!
The game was designed for mouse only so gamepad support is meh. You can't switch items or spell in parallel with other actions.
