Jest to odświeżona w 1997 wersja pierwszego Harpoona. Jej zalety? Ładniejsza grafika względem oryginału, bardzo duża baza scenariuszy (zebrane do kupy wszystkie pakiety) i czytelniejsze, wygodniejsze w obsłudze menu.

As someone familiar with naval sims but never played [i]Harpoon[/i] before, I can see its appeal as a [b]middle-way[/b] approach to simulation/war gaming.
