It's a bit of a step back from the first one. The combat doesn't feel as deep, and the voice acting in English felt worse, in my opinion.
The gifting system was interesting to make playthroughs feel different, but it didn't seem different enough for me

Après la sortie surprise en 2019 du remaster de l’excellent Onimusha, Capcom a remis le couvert avec le même traitement apporté pour son successeur, j’ai nommé Onimusha 2. Ce second opus est celui dont je me souvenais le moins. Et pour cause !
