It harkens back to the early Conquest of Elysium games before they had all the complex interactions between races and gods etc etc. A nice, fun, 4x type of game. Also any bugs I've come across have been fixed promptly.

Janky you can't move troops freely between your hero and base. i hired a bunch of units and could not put them with my hero. Jank.
