First off, the old-skool charm is throughout. The graphics are 8-bit-ish but more: the wall adornments move to look at you, and the mob corpses are pretty cool. Bodies stay FTW. Call the graphics 12-bit because it's not quite Amiga/ST-ish but looks great

I really enjoyed the game. You have to find the best strategy to fight your way through unique enemies (and some of them are kind of cute) while using your items well. A bit of thinking, a bit of slaying, just entertaining.
