Maize was an awful experience. The dull gameplay, forgettable soundtrack, and irritating characters, especially Vlady, made every moment a chore. I never once felt genuinely engaged or entertained. Hard to recommend when there’s so little to enjoy.

I can't remember the last time I played a game where I actually wanted to find notes and collectables.
The writing is definitely its strong suit, everything else is a little meh.

Boring item scavenger hunt in a huge corn field that may or may not have a story at some point. Couldn't tell you, got bored out of my mind 30 minutes in.
Also, the game is very poorly optimized and has no FOV settings whatsoever.
