the levels in every area are the same with different biomes and some new elements.
the lava area which is area 5 doesnt even add a new element.

i dig it. im not very good at it lol but the gameplay loop with the upgrades has got me in that 'one more run' space so its doin somethin right. boss fights (at least the first one ive seen) are pretty clever, i enjoyed figuring that out as well
