What a delightful, wonderful and short game. I've started really enjoying shorter metroidvanias where there is backtracking but not so much as to feel interminable, and where there's a distinct enough moveset that feels neat but not a ton of memorization.

Tiny little metroidvania-ish puzzle platformer that you can beat in under an hour. Pixel graphics that are nice to look at, but nothing extraordinary you haven't seen in various fantasy games. The control scheme can't be changed, and sometimes feels off.

Shadow King is not perfect... It's short, has low frame rate, some jump inputs don't work eventually and I think it's too reliant on the dash move. But I wish the developer can learn from it and make a sequel.
