Personally I like this game but I did buy basically every single DLC. Once I did that, my experience and progression took off.
I think all the DLC together cost maybe $15-20 so I would have rather seen the game cost $15 and include these items as unlocka

This is a fun idle game. The people who are hitting a wall at 7 or 12 hours are most likely:
1) Not using their spells correctly
2) Not performing rituals often enough
3) (Despite my #2) Not staying in a current game long enough to unlock REALLY helpful

Even for an idle game the grind is incredible. The wall is reached quickly and the upgrades make no noticeable difference. I've rarely seen such poor balancing in the progression.

The game wouldnt be so bad if it didnt make you spend forever rebuilding your town due to the very frequent forced rebirths. You literally have to spend 30ish minutes per rebirth to get back to a place you can reasonably idle. Basically its an active idle
