The game crashing happends because of bad code, overloading ram etc. And the player being launched would be because of the game having very bad movement code. This is a common problem with beginners.

Really simple and charming game, reminds me of those old Panda3d games. :) My only issue is the music on loop is a little grating, but you can turn it off. Besides that, it's fun to turn your brain off and just boat ride. hahaha
