It's a great classic turn-based theater-level fantasy wargame, set in the classic D&D world of Mystarra (BECMI). Well worth the price and Steam did a great job getting the DOS emulator working correctly (Unlike GOG did.)

Great game! Still holds up fairly well despite being 30 years old. Battles are a bit hard to actually play out are a pain as the game lags badly when there are many models on screen. You can simulate battles though, so not a huge issue.

I played this as a kid on a Windows 3.1 machine. It was amazing then, and it's lost none of its charm. They've even upgraded the music and effects so it doesn't sound so dated. If you like D&D and Risk, this is the game for you!

Edit: The game has started working, but every time I window out, it crashes. With how long the games take, this isn't viable.

One of the best abandonware games! it is a pity isn't prepared for multiplaying but still you can have great fun playing hotseat. Btw it didn't crash so far , so my guess is that one just have to hit the correct configuration.
