As someone who grew up playing "Black & White", this is the closest I've seen a game come to scratching that itch.
I like the bones of the game, the souls system for unlocking is a bit tedious, The engine itself is pretty crap, lots of graphical issues.

The closest thing to Black and White 1. Every single self-proclaimed god game that has released in the last two decades is essentially a city builder with gimmicky powers. This one avoids that pitfall and nails the essence of the genre.
