Good game, a lot of the reviews are way too harsh and critical regarding a lot of the less-intuitive mechanics. If you want to play a competitive platfighter without directly supporting Nintendo, this is probably your best bet.

Many have stressed that they wanted more of a direct sequel to Rivals 1 and got PM-like game instead, but in my case this is all I could've ever wanted and more. After the 6/17/25 patch the roster and mechanics feel tightly balanced and wicked fun and I'm

Fantastic game if you like PM. But oh my lord do not try to use their replay editor, it's straight up malware that won't let you leave the editor.

I have played this game since the kickstarter and still have not been able to have nearly as much fun with it as I did with RoA 1. I played RoA 1 day a night and liked it so much I even had it on my Switch, but this one I play for an hour or so and alread

$30 for an online multiplayer-focused game. It's much more mechanically different from Rivals of Aether 1. It's like Smash Bros.; fast like eSports Melee, tech-convenient like Ultimate. The game looks good visually and feels good mechanically. Rivals

tldr not as good as rivals 1 It's 3D now, it has shields and grabs now. On paper these seem like a good thing to add, and I don't really have a problem with them (well ok grabbing is a BIT weird but i might just be not used to it, it helps with the RPS
