Loved this game as a kid, love it now as an adult.
There is one large problem though. There's a $5 version of the game and then there's this version, which adds load/save features.

The game doesn't save anything.
Your score and settings reset every time you boot it.
It has save states (because this is actually an emulator) but it crashes when you load a save state, which means it has FEWER features than the original game from 1998

This is a new 2022/2023 port of the original game. Yes there is a 2015 port on Steam as well. I own that one as well. My opinion is, this new port is worth the $ and worth it to those who own the other port to buy like I did. The game plays smoother, The
