The visuals are bland even for the era it's trying to replicate, the music sounds worse than free, the story is as thin as the paper it was written on, the dungeons range from boring to that god awful desert dungeon, and the combat is repetitive trash rel

This game was surprisingly more fun than I expected. It's very simple and basic and not too long, but it controls well and overall is fun to explore in. The dungeons are mostly combat gauntlets, although they improve and get more interesting as you get fu

A nice love letter to Ocarina of Time. But keep in mind that it's like 10% of a TLOZ game, both in term of content AND gameplay scope. There are 4 worlds, all of them containing a small open area, a tiny village, tiny annex area and tiny dungeon. It leave

el juego captura de gran manera la escancia de los juegos de la 64, el sistema de combate es simple, lo que queda a la perfección con lo que el juego trata de replicar, los mapas son amplios y las misiones sencillas, lo malo es que las primeras dungeons

Pretty good game. Sure it could use some more polish, but it's only five bucks so I'm finding it difficult to find anything to complain about.
Runs perfectly on Steam Deck.
Now excuse me while I have multiple mental breakdowns trying to complete the th

Unfortunately the charm and novelty of this game runs out pretty quick. While other retro inspired games infuse modern game sensibilities and accessibility to create entertaining games reminiscent of older days, Valkie doesn't. The result is a game that l

Awful combat. This game makes the common mistakes of having little to no hitstun, no stagger, no knockback, and no knockdown mechanics. Because of this, combat devolves into a spammy flurried mess of continuously trading blows and repeatedly parrying poor

Great little 4 hour experience with heavy Ocarina of Time feels. Not trying to be a successor to that all time classic, more a cool homage with competent combat, neat upgrades and and some banger tunes. Wouldn't want it to go on any longerm length is perf

I write this review after finishing the main story with 19/20 hearts and defeating the secret boss.
The game was okay for the price and it's runtime.
Since the player always can only use the sword and it's parry move a longer game would have been a drag.

The videogame equivalent of watching a seinfeld re-run on TV.
It's comfy, tickles the nostalgia bone and is short enough to not overstay its welcome.
You can do the dungeons in any order you want, which is nice if you want to up the difficulty a bit befo

i really like this. the zelda: oot inspiration is obvious, and it does LOOK like it belongs on the N64.
enemies are pretty boring tho, they seem like its the same 2 or 3 enemies just reskinned for diff dungeon themes.
it is not the best game in the world,

I wanted to be optimistic about this game, but it has a multitude of problems that left me disappointed and sad. Unity jank is baked into it from the ground up and it shows.
Visually, the game is pretty alright. They wanted to replicate N64-era art desig

I thought this game was really fun! Super simple, and a throw back to a time when it was fun to take a chance on a new game. Honestly, totally worth it! I'm impressed that this was made by one person.

What on earth did I play? It's retro styled, ok - don't have a problem with that.
But the exploration is pointless, the rewards are stupid and the story insipid.
Not interested to keep playing after pushing through the first dng.

Worth playing. You seem to be fairly limited in mobility in this game. In Zelda, you could hop away as well walk. In this game, you have to walk out of the way. But then again, I haven't touched the parry system yet so maybe dodging isn't as important. Wi

Let me put this game into perspective.
You're a 90s kid. You own a Playstation 1. Your friend has a Nintendo 64 and he won't stop telling you about this awesome game he got for his birthday called "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time." He invites you o
