Good mix of strategy and quick reflexes, as the turn-based combat makes sense in a chess context but you have a limited time to choose your next move. Becomes very challenging as modifiers make enemies stronger and an accelerated timer speeds up the game.

Really fun take on the survivor games like vampire survivors. The chess movement and time limited fast turns is exiting and fun. I can't wait to see how far chess survivors will go. I've already got quite a bit of enjoyment out of it.

Every character has different move-sets, not always chess related.
