There is no reason to purchase this. There is a mod giving the nice blood and gore feel. The only difference is you don't get the blood splatter on your screen when you zoom in which is incredibly annoying anyway.

This is one of the most mediocre blood DLC's I've seen in a Total War game.
The blood effects just look like mist, and the splatters on the screen don't work all that well, nor look good.
I would stay away from this one unless you are really desperate
