For starters, there is one negative review that is unfairly bringing the rest of the rating down. The review claims that the games sucks because it could have been better if was remastered. I agree it would have been better but giving this a thumbs down b

These Gold Box Series are lovingly-made copies of the original games. "Oh them memories!"

I mean. You can tell this game is from the early 90's. It's got a lot of rough edges, the controls are awkward, and fights range between ridiculously easy and absurdly difficult without much warning. But it's still a pretty fun game. I had a good time cre

It is an old classic. I remember playing for hours when it came out the first time.

Fun game but can be a bit awkward learning the UI and controls at first. But it is fun playing an old school 2nd edition D&D game.

Never played Dungeons and Dragons table top, never played this game before Steam, and wasn't alive when it came out. Dark Sun is a CRPG from the early 90's that is dated and clunky, but still playable with a good variety of role playing in terms of ques

I've only played part one up to this point. The game is not as fun as I remember, as a kid playing this. It is not as much of a challenge either. It is as buggy as ever and crashes often. The race/class selection is also more limited than I recalled.

One of my all time favourite games from when I was a kid. I always find myself going back to this game, regardless of how flawed it is, and loving it.

Its a fun game but it does take time. I used to play this back when it came out originally on floppy disk. When i seen it in the store here I laughed and added it to my cart. Brings back memories!

These two games were my favorites of the gold box games back in the day. An excellent point and click adventure rpg similar to (what I assume is the now very lost) Interplay's Lord of the Rings. They were a huge inspiration on the Fallout series and pav

Better to leave nostalgia behind. Although I loved those games back in the 90's today they are simply unplayable. You can get over with the graphics, this is obvious, but the ancient mechanics are deal breaker. You need to open character screen to choose

!!! STEAM DECK !! Runs out of the box. But: for audio to work, might require config. from pre-launcher app (easy). And to enjoy the game in 16:10 display format, requires config. from pre-launcher app as well. See report on ProtonDB (https://www.proton

If I had a dime for every time I played Dark Sun: Shattered Lands when it came out.... I would have a lot of dimes. This was a feel good game for me back in the day, and I would play it just to relax. I loved the story, and the system. It was the first

Been wanting to play this game since it game out. Now with the power of the Steam Deck it's possible. Ran an AD&D 2nd edition campaign back in high school and I'm sure this will bring back memories. It don't look like some of the other gold box games I've

Game has aged horribly. Unsure what the graphics represents. Just sprites colliding.
