As a NES game it excels, similar to late era NES games in its look and variety. Huge bosses, The levels are each unique, and the whole thing is true to the spirit of Garbage Pail Kids.

As a guy who collected GPK cards in 4th grade this game is amazing!
Feels like unearthing a hidden gem from the 80's at a game stand at the swapmeet.
Emulates the NES difficulty well without being cruel or unfair. They nailed the tone of the cards too!
