I would recommend this game ONLY IF you don't find the visuals and writing too off-putting.

What a little gem of a game. A refreshing and challenging mixture of pokemon and an autobattler. I'm getting my ass kicked but keep going on another run. Highly suggest turning the battle speed up.

A fun if slighty difficult game where I have 22 losses and 1 win. While I enjoy the new update I keep getting caught in the trap of choosing a useless to my build gym badge instead of healing and lose next fight.

Great game. two things that I didn't like -
1. You don't heal before fighting a gym leader which is a bit weird. Like you get low from a random encounter and then you have to fight the Gym Leader with 1 hp on your main dude.
