I really like this genre.
The characters are a bit too silly looking and acting for me personally but the rest is nice.
It has a lot of features especially social and racial features I like.

Quite fun. A decent amount to do, fun way to level/research. Fights are decent, and there's a point to creating a castle, to defend from sieges and stuff. Missions add a little flavor, as does diplomacy.
