One of my favorite games from my childhood, and it's just as fun as I remember it despite being probably 15 years later. Highly recommend if you're looking for something that takes some effort but is still a fairly chill experience.

I've played it for 7 hours on Steam, but I've put in far more hours than that in the last two decades. My mom first got my siblings and I into the Virtual Villagers series. (I think she mostly got the game for herself, but she said it was for us kids.)

I remember playing this years ago and I loved it then (though hated all the waiting). I don't mind the waiting now as I have other things to do besides wait around for island events, but the game is still just as good even if the graphics didn't age well.
