If you enjoyed Ultima's 3,4 and 5 you'll love this game.

Extremely impressive old-school tile-based RPG. It has colorful tiles that grow on you the more you play, a surprising amount of dialogue considering this was made for the TI99/4A, and a massive world with a lot of interesting maps (some of which are fie

Realms of Antiquity is an old school Computer roleplaying game that deserves the name. At the start of the game you make your own party out of 4 characters or a single hero to play the game. You can find new companions in the world to fill your party if

此游戏 可与Nox Archaist并称 当代复古CRPG双雄 与后者相比 节奏更快,系统更极简化(简单 但是不简陋,深度同样有) 游玩时 记录一些任务相关的信息类笔记,基本就可以畅玩了

I was surprised at how quickly this retro RPG transported me back to my childhood days of playing Ultima and kept me playing for hours on end. The exploration and maps are fantastic - you can tell the designer put a lot of thought into them. The dungeon

Despite being restricted to such archaic hardware, Realms of Antiquity The Shattered Crown is the next step on the evolutionary chain of Ultima inspired role playing games. The world of Realms of Antiquity is fun to explore, in fact the world design is th

Excellent old-school Ultima-vibes game (I'd say it's ultima III with Ultima V-ish graphics and some Ultima II grade silly thrown in here and there) with a very responsive, helpful, active developer behind it.

I uninstalled Elden Ring because all I wanted to play was this.

* No 'follow the arrow' until the end of the game * No spending 2 hours fine tuning your haircut before starting the game * No hyperrealistic 3d rendering with ray tracing * No voice overs in 30 different languages Only the good stuff stays, the real gam

This game is a whole lot of fun. A classic, old school RPG. Top down, tile based, turn based, party based. An Ultima-like. A taste of some of the best parts of early-ish Ultima's, maybe some Magic Candle, maybe even a little hint of Tunnels of Doom (I

This is one of the most engaging RPGs I've played. The combat is interesting, the classes and characters feel different and the magic system is unique. It's a relatively new game that operates within the limits of an older system (The TI-99/4a and yes, it

This game is probably not for everyone, but if you have ever played any of the older Ultima/Gold Box/Avernum games, you should give it a try. The sprawling world, with lots of little (and big) secrets to be found really evokes a sense of adventure, the co

Como si Tunnels of Doom y Ultima tuviesen un hijo en la actualidad. Lo recomiendo mucho.

This is a wonderful game! A technical marvel, despite being a new, modern game made in 2020, it's written entirely in assembly language for a computer made way back in 1981. It's also incredibly well designed, cramming many modern tactical CRPG features y

I'm old. I remember when Apple IIe was standard and 386s were primo. And yeah, I love modern AAA games. But I find myself gravitating back towards the games of my youth. It makes me so happy that games like Nox Archaist and Realms of Antiquity exist. Old

Surprisingly fancy for such an old system—it definitely surpasses what I expect from a TI 99/4A game, although I was not very familiar with that system before this. It has somewhat of a concept of elevation, the NPCs have a decent amount of dialogue, th

This rocks. Full CRPG finally on the TI-99/4A platform. Great game play, great lore, great depth, hundreds of hours of gameplay

I bought the collector's edition of Realms of Antiquity on release day at the end of 2020, and last year I finally gathered the hardware required to play it on a real TI-99. My friend and I had a blast playing through the game this past summer (manual and

Bro have you ever played Ultima? Have you ever wanted it to be 1985? I wasn't even alive in 1985 and honestly am glad it's not 1985 anymore because Reagan is dead now and there was a lot of misogyny back in those days and the hair styles were bad but this

Biggest problem: you can't run the game in fullscreen or borderless fullscreen. Readme tells you to download an emulator for more options, but I don't know what those are and I'm not downloading an emulator to run a Steam game. That's what Steam is for.
