The game overall is pretty good. It gets repetitive after the 3rd island. The priority system for the buildings is not the best and sometimes the patting is rough but the game is still fun. Even with the flaws it was fun to 100% this game.

It just felt boring. It doesn't really rise above any other game, even if the city builder combined with tower defense is a unique (AFAICS) combination. Perhaps there's a good reason. Time is better spent playing better TD games, or better city builders.

The art style is kind of cute but the gameplay loop isn't all that much fun: build a town and find the time and patience to build a maze-like structure on top of that. It feels a bit like they tried to glue two halves together that don't really match.

Not my cup of tea tbh.
As it was part of a Humble Bundle I am glad to have tried it out, but the base building, interwoven with Tower Defense isn't executed good enough for my liking.
I can see people liking this though.
