The new tutorial helps, I was a bit daunted by the sixteen tokens and their effects when I played before this update, but having the new tutorial really helps. I like what I see but am still learning the impacts of all the tokens so I think I will start

Rough around the edges but once you get into the meat of the storytelling it's very interesting. Assuming Early Access means in active development, I would recommend this despite its extremely indie state at the moment.
