This is a cheesy little retro arcade "time extended" type of racer. If you realize that from out the door, you will get more out of it.

This game is is a charming nostalgic homage to the 3D polygonal Sega racers of the 90s. Part Virtua Racing, Part Daytona USA. Music is catchy, Controls might need more tweaking, but are serviceable. Game has a decent challenge. Beware the damage meter.

Edit: In comparison to this game I really like the new New Star GP. It's not so much frustating when overtaking - but still a bit, it has a lot more to offer on the side of management and variety. It feels more like a game from the 90s
